World Liver Day

  • Chris Klug Foundation 110 E Hallam St 102B Aspen United States (map)

World Liver Day is an annual global awareness day celebrated on April 19th, led by organizations like the EASL, to highlight liver health, promote prevention of liver diseases, and educate the public about liver function, with recent themes focusing on nutrition's role, such as "Food is Medicine" for 2025. It serves as a platform for campaigns encouraging healthy diets, exercise, limiting alcohol, and early detection, as liver conditions are often silent but preventable

We want to celebrate the individuals who have received a liver transplant, or have made the selfless decision to donate and save someones life.
