Step 1: Submit the Form

CKF partners with Cars Helping Charities (CHC) to give donors the opportunity to have their vehicle make a difference for those on the transplant waitlist.

Step 2: Schedule Pick Up

The CHC Team will schedule a time to pick up the vehicle using one of their towing partners at NO cost ot the you. At the time of pickup, the tow truck picks up the vehicles, keys, and title. You receive an electronic donation receipt that serves as a record of the donation.

Step 3: Vehicle Is Sold

The vehicle is sold through CHC’s nationwide network of auction yards, direct buyers, scrap yards, and recyclers.

Step 4: After-Sale Details

After the sale of the vehicle, you automatically receive a copy of IRS Form 1098C, if applicable, and a thank-you letter.

Step 5: Donation to CKF

The Proceeds from the sale of the vehicle is processed and sent to CKF.
