Theresa Haupt
Theresa is running the Sydney Marathon in support of her cousin Brooke and in memory of her grandfather. Brooke received three liver transplants as a baby and is now undergoing dialysis while waiting for a kidney transplant. Theresa’s grandfather passed away in 2017 while waiting on the transplant list for a liver. There experiences have shaped her passion for organ, eye, and tissue donation.
Running has always been a grounding force in her life and she ran her first marathon in college. Sydney will be Theresa’s first World Abbott Major and she is thrilled to take on the challenge for a higher purpose.
While she could not be a donor for Brooke this opportunity allows her to honor her family and their connection to the cause. She will also be based in Melbourne Australia as a Fulbright Scholar for a year starting in Jan 2026 and therefore it felt the perfect fit!

Peter Garver
CKF is thrilled to have Peter back on board with Team CKF ready to take on the Sydney Marathon. Peter ran with CKF in 2024 NYC Marathon and was a wonderful member of the team!
Peter was never a serious runner until a swimming friend recruited him to run in the 12-person American Odyssey Relay in 2016! Next Peter took on tge Baltimore Marathon followed by the Wineglass Marathon qualifying for Boston in 2018! He soon ran Chicago but unfortunately after had to pull out of Boston due to injury.
In 2022 he took on the Berlin Marathon and re-qualified for Boston! Unfortunately he again was injured but in 2024 he completed it after being registered for the 4th time! He is ready and excited to now take on the newest Abbott World Major Sydney!

Meaghan Ellis
Meghan has had a few people in her life touched by transplant. She thought it had got as close to home as it would when her brother-in-law received a transplant. However in April 2025 it got even closer, her mom needed a double lung transplant.
She went through the testing process which took until September. She was then placed on the list, and it only took 9 days until the phone rang there were two perfect lungs ready for her.
Meaghan’s mom called crying filled with excitement and nerves. Meghan jumped into the car and drove straight to her. She has watched her mom continue to push through recovery and be positive every step of the way.
Meaghan plans to keep her mom’s positivity for every step through the Sydney Marathon in honor of her journey and her brother in law!

Amina Kamagate
CKF’s mission deeply resonates with Amina and she is honored to racing in support of organ, eye and tissue donation awareness and to celebrate the lives of those impacted by transplant.
Amina is originally from Côte d’Ivoire and has been living in the United States for 12 years. She is newer to running and completed Chicago as her first marathon. She has a goal to become the first Ivorian to finish all the Abbott World Marathon Majors!
She is excited to run with the foundation and celebrate the spirit of resilience and community CKF embodies. She feels it is the perfect opportunity to combine her passion for fitness and purposeful advocacy to help make a tangible difference in people’s lives.

Jamie Larson
Jamie is back on the CKF Run Team after running the NYC Marathon twice with CKF in 2016 & 2017. Jamie has attended numerous CKF events over the years and is and advocate for organ, eye and tissue donation herself.
She states “I love being affiliated with such an incredible organization that brings awareness to the need for donation and dispels myths surrounding donation.”
She is racing in honor of Georgia Grace Gibsone, a cherished and beloved Aspenite who lives on today because of the generous gift of donation after the tragic loss of her life in 2019.
