Women's Health Month is observed every May in the U.S., led by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office on Women's Health (OWH) (HHS), to raise awareness about women's health issues, encourage preventative care, and promote overall well-being for women and girls across all life stages. It kicks off with National Women's Health Week (NWHW) starting on Mother's Day, encouraging checkups, healthy eating, stress management, and awareness of conditions like heart disease, cancer, mental health issues, and reproductive health.
