Donor Remembrance Day, held annually on April 30th, is a special day organized by the Association of Organ Procurement Organizations (AOPO) to honor and celebrate "Donor Heroes" who gave the gift of life through organ, eye, and tissue donation during National Donate Life Month. People participate by sharing stories, planting virtual forget-me-not flowers in the AOPO Donor Hero Remembrance Garden, and joining local events to remember these selfless individuals and their families.
